Robbin Gallery, a non-profit art space in Robbinsdale, MN, presents seven (7) month-long exhibitions showcasing artistically excellent work executed in a variety of media and styles that express a wide range of creative voices. Shows are available for the months of January, February, May, June, August, September, and October.

Just a short distance and travel time from downtown Minneapolis, Robbin Gallery is a wonderful exhibit space that will showcase your 2D and 3D visions. The fixed and flexible wall space can accommodate work up 60 inches tall. Depending on artwork dimensions, the gallery will comfortably present 35-45 individual, framed and wired pieces. Podiums in a number of sizes and heights are also available. Sorry, we currently cannot accommodate video or performance work.

The gallery is open Thursday 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Friday & Saturday 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. The gallery is available at any time during the run of an exhibition to the artist(s) for special events and activities (coordinated through Gallery Director).

CALL for PROPOSALS for solo or small group shows for the 2023 exhibition season open January 3, 2022. Proposals will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. 0n April 15, 2021. EMAIL PROPOSALS ONLY. Your proposal should highlighting your intent, your medium, a short artist bio, web site or social media (not required), and 10-12 images (no more than 1200 pixels on the longest side) to Robbingallery@gmail.com. Proposal(s) are reviewed online; it is essential to present the best digital images available. Work presented should be very similar to the style and quality you would anticipate showing in 2023.

Any additional artist’s presentation(s), demonstrations or other show enhancing activities should be included in your proposal.  Also indicate whether you would share the gallery space with another artist should the Gallery feel it is in the best interest of Robbin Gallery.

The Curatorial Panel reviews all submitted proposals and selects artists’ exhibits that support the Gallery’s goal to present Quality, Variety and Inclusion. The panel will determine the dates for each exhibit to accommodate the gallery calendar and the individual artists.

For additional information contact Gallery Director Jeanne Johnson at cejejohnson2@gmail.com.

NOTE: If you would like to exhibit your work at Robbin Gallery, but do not anticipate the ability to prepare a full solo or small group show, consider the November all-Minnesota artists exhibit, Extremely Minnesota.
